I subscribed to this magazine for about 3 years and found it to be lacking in actual Porsche information. This magazine spent a lot of time discussing the finer things in life associated with the stereotypical Porsche owner, ( ie which restaurants to eat at while taking your drive through wine country, or which bed and breakfasts to stay at on your drive up the coast) Every once in awhile, you might get some technical information. If you are looking for a more " artsy fartsy " type magazine, this one is for you. If not, there are some other publications out there with lots of tech. info and great photos. I personally like a publication from the UK called Total 911.

This is the official Porsche factory magazine, which has been in continuous publication since 1952. They are collectibles in the making; old editions sell at Porsche memorabilia events. I first subscribed to Christophorus in the late 1990s, before Porsche's 50th anniversary as a sportscar manufacturer, in order to collect all the issues commemorating that milestone.

Like most car manufacturers' magazines, Christophorus emphasizes current and pending models, plus offers a mix of technical, motorsport, retrospective and "lifestyle" articles. For example, recent articles included: driving the Panamera through Panama from the Pacific coast to the Atlantic; how Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) actual works to become more comfort- or sports-oriented at the touch of a button; Museum on Wheels: the 356 B 2000 GS Carrera GT at the Ennstal Classic; "A Promise and a Porsche", a song by English artist Allan Taylor, about a father and a son, a Porsche and a difficult trip; the 911 demonstrating its world-class suspension on the traditional routes of PostAuto buses through Switzerland's Gotthard, Furka, and Grimsel passes; and driving a Porsche with racing legend Walter Röhrl.
