Anthony J. Jordan has written first biographies of Irish historical figures: Major John MacBride, Sean MacBride, Conor Cruise O'Brien, Christy Brown, WT Cosgrave, John A Costello. He has written 4 books on the theme of the Yeats/Gonne/MacBride Triangle, defending John MacBride's good name from criticism from Maud Gonne, WB Yeats and some of their biographers. He lives in Dublin Ireland. He has written an autobiography titled, "The Good Samaritans - Memoir of A Biographer". He has a love of the poetry of WB Yeats and the poets of the First World War, especially Wilfred Owen.
