I have watched the Christy double feature and ALL the other Christy videos! I can assure you that you will love this video just as much as I (and the people above me) have! Whether young or old, all will love these videos packed with love, heroism, adventure, humor and undying faith. All this takes place in the backdrop of the Smokey Mountains around the turn of the century. The content is clean but incredibly well done and you get a break from the offensivenesss of most modern day movies! While on PBS, this show got the highest ever ratings for a TV show on that channel! I think You'll understand why once you've seen the true story-based Christy!!! I also was on Amazon looking for the whole Christy series- take a hint you have the demand for it!!!

I have several of the "Christy" videos and would sure like to know where I can find the rest. I have six and from a previous review read there are 19. They are wonderful! If anyone can help me find where to purchase the remaining 13, I would be very grateful!

HAVING A CABIN IN THE SMOKEY MOUNTAINS, I ENJOYED THIS VIDEO TREMENDOUSLY. I ONLY WISH I COULD PURCHASE THE WHOLE SERIES--HINT-HINT!

I thought this movie was a wonderful adventure through a young woman's life during the early 1900's. I shows her struggles with life, love, happiness, sadness, and everything in between. It also has a strong connection with religious values. I think Amazon should carry a whole series(all the episodes). I think that would be greatly appriciated! thank you!

I thought the movie was great entertainment that showed real life hardships, but also the simple things that make life worth living! Not only that, but strong tie with the importance of religion. It shows the struggles of life,love,and friendship and the importance of each one. Amazon should carry the whole series!(Each show - in case you're wondering what I mean!)Thank you!

I saw the television series when it first came out. I enjoyed it, however, because of the TV Station switching the times as to when it would be shown, I was not able to see it to its end. I just recently read the book....it was great! I bought the video of the tv series and found it to be wanting in comparison to the book. Allot of liberties were taken with the television series and it did not follow the book very well. On the whole though, it was interesting and a good Drama for the family.

This is a wonderful family movie. It is heartwarming and delightful. I would recommend it to anyone! I would love to have the whole set.

This fantastic movie combines challenges and wonders of a mid century girl who fights for the education and life of many children, lost in the dispair of poverty and ignorance in a lost town. Absolutely great!

The Christy series is full of uplifting morals and values...it's also truly inspirational in that Christy is a true heroine as she fights for what's right, even though that's not always the easiest thing to do in CutterGap! She is a wonderful role-model for all ages.
