We just recently had a custom walk in closet built and we had them to make it high to capitalize on the high ceiling. I was using a step ladder to reach the high hanging items but I still couldn't reach them. THe item I purchased si a metal pole for retrieving clothing which arrived in two parts. Each part screwed into each other, however, the screw thread was stripped and I had to purchase an epoxy to "weld" the two parts together.

I received the Shepard's hook hoping to use it to rotate clothes to an upper third bar in our closet. I was sadly disappointed with this hook. The hook at the end of the bar is not the proper size to use it with plastic tubed hangers. The plastic hangers are too wide to get the Shepard's hook close enough to the bar to actually transfer it without them falling to the ground. The screw together joint seems flimsy to me, not the strength I expected.
