Chromium was first recognized as an important dietary trace mineral in the 1950s. Research discovered that it works with insulin to help metabolize carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Insulin depends on chromium to help move sugar and fat into the body's cells, where the nutrients either are burned for fuel or stored. Although essential to metabolic function, chromium is not produced by the body and must be included in the diet. Chromium forms part of a compound in the body known as Glucose Tolerance Factor (GTF), which is involved in regulating the action of insulin in maintaining blood sugar levels. It is an essential trace mineral that aids in glucose and maintenance of healthy blood levels of cholesterol and other lipids. Unlike some other customers, I had no problems with this product. The product I received exactly matches the photo, and the dosage, etc. is all the same. Just like a regular order.
The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because I can't give definitive proof that this product will help your health and fitness goals. Like many other vitamins and supplements, there's a bit of faith at work. Especially when taking multiple pills every day, I can't say for certain this product "works", but I feel good so I'm going to continue taking the advice to scientists and doctors who have done the experiments.

I was happy to be able to order Chromium Polynicotinate but when the package came, it contined Chromium Picolinate. I can understand the mistake, so I called the dealer and told them about the error. After a week or so, they called me to say that they did not have the product I ordered, so I just returned the Chromium Picolinate. Therefore, I can't review the actual product.....I just wish I could purchase it SOMEWHERE.

I was billed last month for this item and it still has not arrived. The seller has terrible customer service as they have not replied to my email yet. I am a very loyal Amazon.com customer and have been for over 10 years. Amazon should not be dealing with this seller. The tracking they provided me with over 2 weeks ago says that "tracking is not available." In essence I was billed for something I have never received, nor will I. I had to file a claim and it has not yet been resolved. I am very disappointed. I can only rate the seller and not the product because the seller never sent me the product.
