5.0 out of 5 stars The best band that few people know about
WOW. This CD is awesome. Every single tune kicks. It is one of the few CD's that I can listen to every song with great excitement. There are so many hits that could come from this CD. Unfortuately, radio stations have yet to get the ETA bug. I personally do not get it. It blows my mind that radio stations will not get behind this band. If they did, then the...

1.0 out of 5 stars To Kaeos13
Actually, i did see them in concert in Memphis, back around Dec. of 1999, at the MFS Solid Rock concert, with Simon Says, Chevelle, and Staind. So don't tell me what i did or didnt see. They were the worst band there. They tried to act cool and hardcore when they didnt have the sound to back it up.

If they did, then the request lines would light up constantly.

In addition to the great CD, these guys are even better live. I saw these guys play twice in DC and I was floored. You would think that these guys have been playing together for years and years. They are definitely ready to play in front of thousands at big stadiums.

That is the one thing that these guys need to do more of, which is tour. They've toured with STP, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, and others, but not to the extent of other bands.

BUY THIS CD. You will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best album I've heard all year!, December 17, 1999

I'm so glad ETA is starting to get the widespread recognition they totally deserve. They're incredibly powerful live and the cd's sound is huge. Every song is a winner and you WILL be singing them the next day. And there's plenty more where they came from - go see them live! These songs are a perfect blend of melodic harmonies (everyone sings) and smart, heavy riffs. Very intelligent songwriting. How many albums do you listen to all the way through? Every time? You will with Chronicle Kings.

This band, Earth To Andy, shows so much amazing talent with their CD Chronicle Kings. Their CD is so well balanced for the perfect musical experience possible. They have slow ballads and hard hitting rock songs that are astonishing to listen to. This band should be heard!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars To the "music fan" from Atlanta,Ga, April 21, 2003

I felt obligated as a person who knows this group quite well to correct your review. You could not have POSSIBLY seen Earth to Andy at that concert. They havent played a live show for many months. They also are not even CLOSE to the same type of music as the bands you mentioned. Please be more careful in the future to review the CORRECT CD. It does absolutely NO good for you to bash a group you havent heard, and thus drive away people from a small group's cd. For those interested, this band is truly amazing... This album is without a doubt the best cd I have ever heard, combining great riffs and amazing guitar work with some of the greatest harmonic singing I have ever heard. Do your ears a favor and buy this album. You will fall in love with ETA, I promise. Also, look for their new cd, "sticks the landing," out soon at their website... earthtoandy.com

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing album, brilliant band!, July 13, 2004
By
This review is from: Chronicle Kings (Audio CD)
This is one of the greatest bands I've ever seen. This cd is brilliant and inspiring. I listen to it more than any other cd in my entire collection. They are all master musicians & vocalists - they have edge, perfect harmonies, and the melodies & hooks will stay in your head all day long. Any music lover who doesn't have this cd is missing out on a real gem. If their label had properly supported them, ETA would rule the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the best band never to be discovered, June 15, 2004

I don't actually own this album. I have an unreleased demo CD that the band put together in the mid 90s. I have this because the lead guitar player, Tony, was my guitar teacher in Fairfax, VA, for 5 years, and he gave it to me. The album features many songs that appear on the Chronicle Kings CD, and all the songs are good. Every time I listen to the CD i wonder how they never made it big while there are all these craptacular acts out there today making millions of dollars (Examples: Good Charlotte and New Found Glory). I think Better Days is probably the best song on the album. Anyone who likes non-depressing rock and roll will like this CD.

Saw these guys warm up for LIVE in Detroit and they had me hooked. Great song writing, excellent catchy tunes, good melodies and some harmonized vocals. I'm usually into heavier music, but these guys had the right amount of power to keep me interested :)
