A different view on Angels, demons, and their affect on our world...,
By the Colonel (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Chronicles of Angels: The Cherubim Fields (Hardcover)
If you are looking for a new twist on how Angels and demons interact and how this may directly affect our world, then Cherubim Fields will be a fun read for you. It has a basis in the Bible's teachings on Angels (and provides references to them) but it definitely strays away from being a quaint "Sunday School-style" tale.
Amidst the plot-driven storline, the author also provides a subtle, yet strong message to the reader on his beliefs regarding faith and salvation. The story moves along well and at the end will leave you wondering what does the author, D.C Bennett, have in store for the next book in the Chronicles of Angels?

WOW is right! I'm an attorney and I expect a lot from my reading when precious time permits, and in this case I was NOT disappointed. I have to admit I was a bit disturbed by the graphic battles as the author showed me spiritual warfare in a very literal sense. I started reading at 10:00 A.M. and didn't stop until 3:00 the next morning. Rarely have I been able to see, hear and smell as if I were actually part of the story. This kept me engaged for hours at a time. The story got better and stronger the more I read and left me wanting more. Keep writing D.C. I can't wait for the sequel.

Chronicles of Angels, well worth the read.,

I just got done reading this book. Wow. I was impressed with it.
A lot of "Christian books" try to "preach at the reader" and throw out a bunch of meaningless bible verses (Well, meaningless to those not already a Christian). I think D.C. avoids this. He tells a good story, has a good Christian value system and also includes some scripture and learning for the initiated. I thought the characters were well thought out and was expressed well. My only "complaint" about the book was the way it was laid out. The spacing between lines seemed to be off to me. But once I got past this, it was hard for me to put this book down. I really enjoyed this book and eagerly await the next installment (if there is indeed another one). Keep up the good work Mr. Bennett Rev. Aaron Moss

The autor keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the book. A lot of people say, "I couldn't put it down". Well I couldn't put it down!!! In the preface the author details his vision and insight to the writting of the book, and it is amazing. The "Left Behind" series pales in comparison to "The Chronicles of Angels".

Wow! What a suprise. I enjoy stories about Angels but wasnt expecting this one. This book is an entirely new twist on Spiritual Warfare as it directly corresponds to our everyday lives. The battle scenes are engaging and the heart-warming love story realy kicks-in. The author does a good job witnessing a strong Christian message without being too preachy. The story leaves you wanting more.
