Boyd and Goluses present a varied program of music involving their combination of flute and guitar. To this reviewer, the selections which stand out are Joan Tower's duo "Snow Dreams" and Augusta Read Thomas's double concerto "Eclipse Musings." For those who especially enjoy the flute and guitar combination, this recording is a "must have." For others who think they might enjoy these blending sonorities, these are some excellent modern works with which to explore this combination.
