Book Description

September 1, 2002
In his third collection of hilarious comic strips, Keith Knight takes on the political, the social, the religious, the racist, and Canadians with a potent and poignant blend of low-brow humor, high-brow satire, and self-deprecating, personal honesty--all drawn in a style that is reminiscent of Calvin & Hobbes and underground comix.

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

Born and raised in the Boston area, Keith Knight was weaned on a steady diet of sports, racism, and Warner Bros. cartoons. He penned the earliest versions of his comic strip during his 3rd stint as an eighth grader. After graduating with a degree in graphic design from Salem State College, Knight hopped in a car and drove out to San Francisco. It is here he discovered the world of underground cartooning and began to craft what would eventually become The 'K' Chronicles. Knight's work has also appeared in MH-18, Cracked, Futures, Fabula and Pulse! magazines. Described as a combination of "Spike Lee Damon Wayans, Gary Larson and the lead singer Of The Red Hot Chili Peppers", Knight raps with the San Francisco band The Marginal Prophets and is currently developing an animated series for Nickelodeon.
