If you want to engine swap any newer fuel injected cars (like naturally aspirated to turbo, etc.) this book is not for you! This seems to be a history book on the older big block Chrysler engines.

I ordered this book under a different pretense since I was under the impression it covered conversions like mine. I am currently performing a /6 to a 360 ci small block in a 1981 J-Body and thought I could get a little insight on how to go about doing that through this book. I was wrong, but this book is still cool since it is pretty concise on how to transplant a Mopar small or big block into non-Chrysler vehicles such as a Studebaker Lark, Ford F100, Ford Mustangs, early Ponchos, 1955 T-Birds,and 49-51 Mercury/ Windsors. The pictures are very dated and all are black and white. The reference book was published by "Hot Rod" magazine in 1993. The useful part is the Mopar engine spec chart from 1961-1974 covering all engines from 6 cyl. to the 440 Six Pack. There is even a chapter on how to shoehorn a 440 into a 1971 A body! It is a pretty weird little book, not something you expect to find in a Mopar themed reference book anyhow. But with that said, It is a niche book for a very specific build like the ones I have posted, And unless you're going to do a build like any of these, I don't think you have a reason to even take a gander. Just keep on looking elsewhere.
