5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite band, December 19, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Chubby Dubby (Audio CD)
It is so great to see that this band is finally getting the recognition they deserve! I saw them in LA at an all-ages show and they blew me away.I bought Chubby Dubby after the show and spoke to band for a bit. They are all remarkably chill people and a band in the true sense, three kids who grew up together making music. This album is phenomenal!!!

To all of you who have already heard the album but don't own it, I have only one thing to say:

I saw these guys live at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC and THEY RULE!!!

Not only did the songs sound great and ten times more powerful live, but the band was going crazy, jumping around and trashing stuff left and right! It was one of the 4 best live acts I have ever seen (the others are Radiohead, At the Drive In and Weezer) even though they were just an opening band that night.Buy their record!!

A Kid's Review

Three and a Quarter's latest record 'Chubby Dubby' is a great album, not only musically but one can also sense the effort put in this recording. An original sound, creativity, hard work, and all around great guys make Three and a Quarter a well respected band by anyone who appreciates good music and the independant music scene. I highly recommend this album and be sure to pick up 'Revolve', Rip Curl's first snowboard dvd which features a couple of Three and a Quarter titles on their soundtrack.

5.0 out of 5 stars Diverse, February 24, 2004

This album is the result of much work and it shows. The band has grown up musically since their last album and refined all the good points they already had. The songs are diverse in groove but consistent with the entity known as Three and a Quarter. The album as a whole borrows from ska, reggae, rock, punk and hardcore to make an explosive but smooth mixture known as Chubby Dubby. Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars gigga what?, January 10, 2007
This review is from: Chubby Dubby (Audio CD)
I heard of these guys completely by chance, i've never been able to see them live, and I got the last copy of their album from here. What the hell? These guys are awesome, I love it, and I don't understand how they're not more well known, and why no stores don't carry their cd's. Buy the album if you can, and try and get the word out, these guys are waaaay too good to be unheard of. If your a record exec, sign 'em up! They're freakin nasty.
