I'm the father of two girls aged 8 and 11. That gives me 19 Christmases, 19 birthdays, and 152 nights of Hanukkah's experience with gifts for kids. The toys and games have numbered in the hundreds with extremely mixed results. Misses have been common, hits are rare and memorable, but almost all have provided at least a few minutes of entertainment. The Chuck E Cheese Pizza Maker is the exception. By a very wide margin, it's the most useless piece of garbage that I have ever given to my girls.
It's not an oven, which means that they were too cheap to include a cord and an empty light bulb fixture. Instead, you use your microwave to pre-cook "dough" that resembles Elmer's Glue, into an indigestible spongy lump, and then you smear on your own ketchup as "sauce". The most charitable way to describe the end result is "probably non-toxic". Hard to believe that they didn't even bother to include a ketchup packet, but that's what makes the Chuck E Cheese Pizza Maker so special. This is the Ishtar of toys.

This is made to look like a boy version of the "Easy Bake Oven", but ALL it is is, a bit of dough, little bag of sauce and Chuck E's face on a fancy plate to hold the pizza!!!
Not worth your money!!

My son received this from my sister for Christmas. She thought it was like an Easy Bake Oven. The box does state that the pizza is made in the microwave but this is overshadowed by the photo.
This toy is a waste of money. There is a plastic Chuck E Cheese contraption that looks like an oven. There is a green tray that will allow two pizzas to be made. The pizzas are about 3 inches in diameter each. I did not measure this. This is only an estimate. Okay, the packets. The sauce needs mixed with ketchup to make. It's gross. The dough needs measured. Overall, this is too difficult for the targeted age range. Pizza dough is sticky to begin with. This dough is no exception. It's messy. It will take an adult to mix it properly without making a mess. The cheese is okay. Just dried cheese to sprinkle on. The dough is made an put in the green tray. The tray then needs to be microwaved. Then the toppings are added and it all goes back in. If you skip the step of microwaving the dough alone, the sauce gets overcooked. The pizza itself tastes disgusting. The dough really doesn't cook right and it a bit hard. And that Chuck E Cheese plastic oven contraption has no part in the pizza preparation process. You are basically paying for a microwavable tray and mix packets. Of course, my son loves the idea of making his own pizza. What I will be doing is buying a resealable bag of shreaded pizza cheese, a jar of spaghetti sauce and pre-mixed pizza dough. When he wants to use his green tray (and I type this with great sarcasm), I will pull out the ingredients and we'll make two tiny pizzas and repeat this process at least twice until he gets full or until I scream. Don't buy this. It's a huge excuse for an overpriced microwavable tray.

The pizzas get made in the microwave, not even like an easy bake
The box you see in the pictures with chuckie on it just holds the tools that you dont even use to make the pizza The dough is powder and water The sauce and cheese are the same powder, and it it made of powder and ketchup The pizza didnt even cook all the way When we got it to cook it looked so unappetizing we had to throw it out My mother almost threw up when she ate some DO NOT BUY.

The box is very misleading - my daughter received this as a gift for Christmas - and we thought it would be like an Easy Bake Oven... WRONG! All plastic packaging/items are useless. The only real item used is the LITTLE plastic double tray that goes into your own microwave. Before opening the package, I read the pizza ingredients and aside from all of the chemicals, the sauce packet actually has no tomato ingredient in it! after opening I realized it is just chemicals/spices and you add your own ketchup, YUCK! My kids love ketchup but did not like this sauce at all! The picture of the melted cheese is misleading as well - the packet of cheese is powder, again YUCK! For the price you could buy an XL pizza from your favorite place and it would be more enjoyable than four 3-1/2 inch 'pizza' things. Can you believe they sell the refill for $20 for the same four little pizzas... incredible!

This is the most wasteful money ive ever spent. You have to cook it in the microwave in steps. My son threw up after tasting the so called pizza and the whole chuck e cheese holder/figurine is useless!!!!!! they should be ashamed to even sell this. Not to be biais or nothing but cant they come up with something like they did for the girls on the ovens. WASTE OF MONEY!!! easier and tastier to buy the kit or get the dough and ur own ingredients and do it urself.

My daughter received this product for Christmas, and we made our first attempt at a Chuck E. Cheese pizza today. The "pizza maker" that comes in the box is in fact just a plastic "holder" for the plastic cooking implements. We made the pizza in our microwave according to the instructions, and it was absolutely vile. Do not waste your money or your time.

I agree with the rest of these reviews, this toy is a piece of crap. After mixing ketchup and powder together and microwaving the mixture, it looked bad and tasted worse.
My 3 kids who love pizza and Chuck E Cheese, would not even eat it. I will throw this away rather than sell it or give it away, I don't want to subject anyone else to this garbage.

This was a total waste of money. You still have to pop the pizza into a microwave to cook it. You are paying for a spoon and two plates. Wasn't enjoyable for the child. G.P.
