This is a fantastic video of how Chuck works. You get a real feel for his life, work and the man. Chuck is just amazing. This is a rare glimpse of a true artist at work. His process will amaze you.

This is a well-made and beautiful work. Chuck Close is a master of our time and it is nice to see him recognized for his achievements while he is still with us! A delight to watch for art lovers and everyone!

I loved this video. I recently saw my first works by Chuck Close which are part of the FIsher collection at San Francisco MOMA. His work is astounding. I am an artist and watching Chuck work was wonderful and inspiring. This video is so special not only to watch Chuck work but to see and hear all of the other artists he comes into contact with. The filming of his wife in their garden was beautiful. I am so glad I purchased this video and will enjoy watching it many times. Thanks Chuck for creating paintings like no other artist. Each little square or figure that becomes part of a face is art.

Born in 1960 and having developed as a designer and art collector it is great to see and hear about the changes that enveloped during my childhood. It is so the culture that I have moved on with. The process oriented approach, the conceptual etc. A super time document!
