good stuff here.. old-school interviews and behind the scenes footage of different artists.. ice t, too short, ice cube, afrika bambaataa, chuck d, krs, rakim, chubb rock, cult legend spyder d..
some short concert excerpts from RUN DMC, including the late Jam Master Jay, circa 2002.. Concert excerpts from the blastmaster krs-one-- makes me hungry for a full-length dvd, or three.. yo Kris, what gives?! audio lecture from hip-hop journalist/commentator Davey D about the origins of the culture.. six exclusive songs from Slam Jamz artists, Chuck's indie label.. Wildest bonus stuff I saw was a full-length video/song with former MTV Host/elder statesman Fab 5 Freddy & graffiti legend Futura 2000... i have no idea what the song is, but futura rhymes for most of it, a no-chorus ongoing party cut, as the duo spray paint canvases, with clips of vintage NYC graffiti art.. Freddy chimes in here and there.. lots of [i]really [/i]old-school circa '83 editing/effects.. |
