My son likes both the Take n Play Thomas trains & the Chugginton series, but, unlike the Take Along Thomas Tote which did not fit some sizes of the Thomas trains, the Wilson Carry Case does fit all the sizes of the Chuggington trains -- even the longer ones like Harrison and Frostini, but two-piece trains will need two slots, and Emery will NOT FIT at all.

This case also closes easier than the Thomas carry case, and the fastener reminds me of the clasps you find on some fishing totes, so it won't pop open even if it's bumped around.

It's a great case to have if you intend on collecting the Chuggington trains because it encourages organization & makes it easier to keep track of the trains. It's also a nice way to move the collection between places, if you are visiting relatives etc.

I wasn't crazy with the idea of another train collection in the house, but the Chuggington TV series is pretty good, and the trains make nice rewards for getting school work done or helping around the house.

I had read a review on another website that stated that Chuggington wooden trains could also fit inside the carry case. While this is technically true, they don't fit very well. Naive me took this on face value and thought I would be able to get 17 wooden chuggers into this case- not true. A nice feature is that the slots that hold the trains are adjustable and if you pull out several of them, you can fit different sized toys inside. Unfortunately, the most I am able to fit inside ours is 7 wooden Chuggars. I had hoped we would be able to fit more. Although this toy did not solve my Chugger-storage dilemma (as my son's trains are starting to take over our family room), it is a fun toy. My son really enjoys opening and closing the carry case and putting his chuggers in and out. I just wish they had designed something similar for the wooden trains.

My son loves this storage container for his trains, he can't open and close the the clasp on his own but he usually leaves it open and its not a problem. our only complaint is we recently bought him Hoot and Toot, we where thinking when we got it but it doesnt fit so he gets upset he likes all his stuff organized. I have also heard that Emery doesnt fit either. So far it has help up and our son is pretty destructive. A common sense note, it gets heavy when it has trains in it, but the trains are die cast so not really much you can do with that but kiss toes when it gets dropped on your kids feet.

We bought the Chuggington Die-Cast Carry Case to fit our sons Thomas the Tank Engine trains because another reviewer said they would fit. Unfortunately, the Thomas trains did not fit in the openings except for two of the bottoms slots that were a tiny bit wider which accommodated their wheels. We returned this organizer because it didn't work for us. It was nice though if you have a Chuggington collection.

This is a great storage container for the die cast chuggers. It comes with partitions inside that can easily fit twenty chuggers. However, the partitions are removable. Right now my son has his case without the partitions with his chuggers just tossed inside in one big mess! LOL But, I'm not complaining so long as it keeps the little trains out of my way, which it does. My son absolutely loves this case because, of course, it's Wilson, one of his favorite Chugginton characters. I too, think it's great, but you really have to pay attention when closing the clasp otherwise it has a tendency to fall open and spill all the trains out. That happened to me a couple of times until I finally figured out exactly how to close the clasp to ensure that it is secure

We purchased this little carrying case for all of the "Chuggington" trains our two year old received from Santa this previous Christmas. In the end, it is a convenient and aesthetically pleasing case that fit perfectly underneath a train table or into a storage cubby of somesort.

Our two-year old son loved seeing this giant carrying case and we love it because it helps to store each little train set (including some mini-Thomas brand named trains). Just a friendly caution, however, this Chuggington case does not store the bigger train sets but is intended for the miniature Chuggington trains.

Overall, we love it and our son loves it!

First of all, he's 2 years old and doesn't store trains in here. In fact, it cannot store more than 8-10 trains.

He carries it around like a briefcase. He thinks it is a giant train and treats it as such. However, this is our second one as my son tripped and fell and broke off the handle from his first Wilson.

I can only comment on how my son uses it and he loves it. We cannot leave home without it and even takes it to bed. Only once did he sucker grandpa into taking it into the bath. Wilson survived....

Great toy/case for your train lover.

I bought this with the intention of using it to store Thomas trains (specifically the Wooden Railway series). They don't fit without removing many of the dividers. I had hoped it would meet my needs based on some of the comments regarding using it to store Thomas trains.

It's not a bad product - but make sure it fits the items you intend to store.
