Great features in this book,

This title in the First Americans series includes the helpful features of a timeline, glossary, additional resources list, and an index. The four sections of the book depict the Chumash tribe in great detail concerning their history, present life, food, crafts, language, and more. The beautiful photos, illustrations, and maps help to highlight the text. With interesting insets like learning Chumash words and a diagram showing how to make a Chumash basket, this book is excellent for elementary students to not only read about the tribe but participate in the learning experience.
