Book Description

March 1, 1981

The Church: A Believing Fellowship is a classic examination of what it means to become a member of the church. Designed for junior high communicant classes, it is also an excellent resource for church officer training and new member classes. The book confronts the choices and questions that arise for young people--or anyone for that matter--trying to understand their place in the priesthood of all believers.

This review is from: The Church: A Believing Fellowship (Paperback)
John H. Leith has provided the Christian Community and the larger community with a truly marvelous summary of what the Christian Church is as it is understood in the Reformed Tradition. This book has been used many years for Confirmation Classes and can be a wonderful guide for HOME EDUCATION of Children in the Christian Faith and it is a grand beginning point for Christians wanting to truly understand the church. As a pastor for 25 years I recommmend it with my highest rating.
