Church Planting From the Ground Up is the best church planting resource in print.

Tom Jones has assembled an all-star cast in this great production. Years of experience, hard-earned lessons, and the fruit that can only come from healthy, growing churches are what makes the contributors to this book worth more than their weight in gold. Each chapter is overflowing with practical guides to anything and everything that is involved in church planting. For this reason, this book is a must have for anyone that feels even an inch of a nudge towards church planting.

On an aesthetic note, finally the world of publication is catching up with the post-modern mind. (Thank you College Press.) However, beyond the post-modern layout of the book, what the reader finds within is practical advice in a user-friendly format. These are articles written by the men and women who have planted some of the healthiest congregations in America. They know their stuff -- they know the dirt on church planting. I cannot recommend this book any higher. It is a treasured must-have in my library, and it should be in yours as well.

This resource is a great collection of information from those who are "been there" and "done that." The information is great for those who are looking to get involved in planting a church, or just for those who want more information about what it means to plant a church. This is not so much a "how to" book as it is a "this is what it looks like" kind of book.

Let's face it. Most books would be great articles and could be shortened to about 15-20 pages. That's what is great about Church Planting from the Ground Up. Its basically a collection of church planting articles written by experts in their particular field. It is a great collection of church planting articles that covers the best practices and foundations of church planting. It's a must read for every church planter.

We opened our first satelite church last month with great success. The ideas and recomendations were invaluable. God bless the many contributors to this outstanding work.
