This band has a lot of potential, and though I do like their second album better, this album has some great songs! Take Back the Beat and Purity are my favorite.

Really Good Male Vocals. Upbeat Songs., June 16, 1998

This is the debute album for Church Of Rhythm and it is a good first effort. The sound is Dance/Hip Hop/ Some Rap, stuff like that. My Favorite songs on this album are "I Found Love" "I Still Believe" "Set Me Free". But, I gotta be honest. I wasn't crazy about all of the songs. I had decided that I would probably not buy another album by them, but I'm glad I did. I think that their second album is WAY BETTER than their first. The album "Not Perfect" is a totally different style of music, I would say that it is rock/alternative, and I LOVE IT!! So go see my review for that album.

They know the rhythm, August 24, 2006

I've had this cd for years and simply love it. Truely one my favorite. Its hard to say which song is my favorite. I like them all but I guess "I found Love" and "Whos got your back". And what is totally wonderful is that my hip hop crazy preteen loves the sound. YES! Excellent music and excellent lyrics that I don't have to worry about. And maybe one day she will actually listen to the words.... And now I'm about to buy that second CD that I see is available.
