Jennifer has a heart for this ministry! She shares a little background of her past in this book and the life she now leads. This book is a great tool for the church and how and why you should reach out to the single moms in your community!

Jennifer out did herslef on "The Church and the Single Mom". After reading her first book "Overwhelmed" I couldn't wait to read this one and it did not disappoint. Jennifer is challenging churches around the nation and ultimately the world to step up and recognize the single mom in our church or lack there of. 70% of single mothers do not attend church today and Jennifer is challenging us to do something about it. However, this book is not just for church leaders it is for church members, community leaders, single moms, and truthfully....everyone. Dont pass this book over! It is a MUST READ!!

This book was an easy read and spot-on for what single moms need from churches. I am a single mom and I couldn't have written it better. Thank you Jennifer for putting into words what my soul longs to see across the world. Single parenting is a very lonely and stressful job at times. So many times I feel judged for my predicament when it was my husband that abandoned us. I host a single mom group out of my home but want churches 'directed' as to what to do to help. This book shares a simple, effective plan on how to begin and run a successful, loving single moms ministry. I've bought copies for several churches so far and given them to people in ministry areas that hopefully will help.

A handbook for the church on how to minister to the single mothers among us; what this population consists of, what it faces, how it is growing, how we need to reach out to them. We can no longer ignore this population group!
