A brief pungent study of multiethnic church ministry,
This review is from: The Church Is In A Stew: Developing Multicongregational Churches (Paperback)
Jerry Appleby is a pioneer in "multicongregational churches," as he puts it. This little volume was my first introduction, and perhaps remains the best. He quickly covers some cross-cultural basics, a theology of multiethnicity, and then digs into the issues of multiethnic churches. Every page is packed with wisdom; the breath of issues covered is almost dizzying. Other more recent books expand on these issues, but I see this book as the framework I return to over and over.
