This is an absolutely fascinating guide that is indespensable if you are touring around Minnesota and want to see and understand Minnesota, its history, diversity, architecture, and people. It helps to understand how Minnesota had transformed into a North Star.

Mr. Lathrop has compiled a listing of about one hundred churches throughout Minnesota. Each church is given a description and a short historical context. In addition, the book provides a brief bio of many architects who designed these churches, including Masqueray, Wilcox, Johnston. Mr. Firth provided great crisp pictures of each church.

I'm pretty sure that this book will be further expanded and will become a guide for each family for generations of Minnesotans.
