Brook Pink Coffee Mugs
After reading the other person's review, I was hesitant to order these mugs but did, anyway. I am really glad I did because they do match my Pink Brook dinnerware perfectly. These mugs aren't brownish. Mine are a rosy, perhaps slightly darker *pink*, a nice shade. They have raised lettering on the bottoms that plainly say CC MADE IN ENGLAND. They have a nice weight...

Disappointed.

After I received the wonderfull Brook Pink Churchill China 45 piece set that I was very pleased with, I odered the Brook Pink Oslo Mugs to help complete the set. Well, its as if Churchill has hired a separate company to make these mugs (infact they are not even stamped with the Churchill logo..just a made in England and a C on one side and a C on the other). The main problem lies with the print on them. Its extremely dark and comes off brownish. It really doesnt match up with the china and even the print of the scene itself is a bit different. While the mugs themselves do a good job of keeping the coffeee/tea hot, overall im disapointed with this purchase. If it were possible to give 2 1/2 stars I would. But since its not possible I will try and stay positive and I will go with 3 and not 2 stars. Godspeed.

I ordered these mugs along with a 4-place setting of the Churchill Brook dinnerware set. Everything came very quickly and all were packed well - nothing was broken or chipped. The mugs are a great accessory to have if you don't drink your tea or coffee out of tea cups and saucers everyday. The handles are easy to grab and the mugs hold a generous quantity of liquid. The stoneware keeps my tea hot for a long time as well. These mugs are still made in England but I noted that nowhere does it state that these are microwave safe. I am extremely pleased with the quality of these mugs!

They are looking lovely and seems durable for longer time and I feel it was the best selection for the price I spent.
