Gorgeous dinnerware. I love the blue color. The plates have a nice glaze on them. They remind me of my grandmother. I love them and will have them for years to come!

As a family of 8, we were used to eating off of mismatched dishes and paper plates. I came across this set while looking around on Amazon. At first I thought it must be a misprint to have such a huge discount on these dishes, but after more investigating I found that they were really expensive and high quality pieces!

It took me a couple of days to convince myself to buy them, but once I decided to go for it, I was so glad! With free shipping, (a $35.00 value), a $25.00 coupon I found online (search for *amazon coupon code* (not in quotes though)and you will get all kinds of results with coupon codes to enter at checkout for discounts), a free tea kettle (a $40.00 value), and the dishes already at over 70% off of retail price, you can't afford NOT to buy this set!!!

My whole family loves these dishes and they seem very durable so far. We aren't careless with them, but we aren't delicate with them either. None of them have chipped.

The only thing remotely negative about these pieces is that on each item, there are little raised rough spots the size of the tip of a pen, where the ceramic had to sit upon prongs while getting fired in the kiln. There are 2-3 on the bottoms of each piece. They aren't overly rough, but you can feel them.

Overall, though, these dishes are a fantastic find and I look forward to using them each day and even enjoy putting them in and taking them out of the dishwasher!!
