A Star Shines Brighter, October 24, 2009

If you don't know how music can renew our spirits and help us to go on with hope, then I ask you to give Ciao My Shining Star a listen. Then go further and listen to the source of these beautifully written songs by Mark Mulcahy and his earlier work with Ray Neal in Miracle Legion and as Polaris for the show Pete and Pete Show. These songs covered by a who's who of modern music are wonderfully and lovingly done by musicians with hearts and this tribute album reflects their love for Mark and his family. Ciao My Shining Star was done to help Mark continue on fathering their twin daughters, after the lose of his wife, Melissa Rich. The music does so much more to keep hope in love alive for all of us. I thank Mark and Ray and all guys from Miralce Legion and I am grateful to the organizers and musicians that gave their inspired renditions of Mark's songs. Peace to all and my hope and prayer go out to Mark and his daughters for love will endure. George Stanley
