Day and Night
Beautifully executed electronic music. The first half sounds to me like day electro: precise, upbeat technically impressive tracks. The tracks are enjoyable to listen to because of the mesmerizing layer electronic hisses, drums, and rhythm section. Its the second side that I really enjoy: it has the moody 80's inspired ambiance of the night. Fluid, melancholic melodies...

Disc 2 with instrumentals would be ideal!
I must say that I really enjoy Tiga's sound of disco, synth and house. This album has a very George Moroder feel to it, with great bouncing disco beats and vibrant vintage leads and pads. However the vocals of most tracks are very poorly written, and become mind numbingly painful to listen to. I understand that with vocals comes commercial appeal, but at what cost? The...

Fluid, melancholic melodies on top of the sparse 808 beats, moody synth bass, combined through impressionistic production. If dreamwave is really a genre, then it must be a product of the night. Check it out if you liked "Bright like neon love" as much as I did.

However the vocals of most tracks are very poorly written, and become mind numbingly painful to listen to. I understand that with vocals comes commercial appeal, but at what cost? The vocals are doing this album a major disservice by becoming distractions to the interesting elements layered behind them. Having said that the vocals for "love dont dance here any more" and "beep beep beep" work quite well, but unfortunately the same cannot be said for the rest.
