If you have an inkling of belief that there are aliens on earth, "The Cicadas" will come to life. Shawn Penning has reached into his mind and developed a novel that will change how you think when you hear a cicadas now. This easy to read, short novel will tap into a multitude of emotions, and trigger your imagination into areas you might not want to go. If you enjoy fiction,time travel, and an original novel that I hope is the first of a series, you will want to read "The Cicadas." Penning has managed to weave compassion, anger,suspense, understanding and misunderstood relationships into this fine piece of work. What I want to know, is when is the next novel of this intriguing story going to be written...I have too many questions that need to be answered!

The Cicadas by Shawn Penning is a must read that you won't be able to put down until you're done! The relationships between Sarah and Sam and Sarah and Tom made me laugh and cry, constantly interested in how things would turn out. The suspense and action kept me reading 'til the end and the romance made me interested in the well being of all the characters. A great book I reccommend to all. Will be looking out for others by this author!
