We purchased this shelter/tent for out 6 month old to use at the beach. We did SO much research to find the "perfect" beach shelter, and we are so glad that we settled on this one! It is so easy to put up and take down (literally less than a minute), and it actually fits EASILY back into the storage bag! That is a huge bonus since so many tents don't do that. Prior to making this purchase we bought two other shelters/tents that were terrible. This one is really perfect! It is roomy, and is secures easily. There are stakes and pouches to fill with sand. We have used it on a breezy beach day, and the stakes kept the tent in place. However, if you need to use the bags on the sides for weight, I recommend filling ziploc bags with sand first then placing them in the pouches so that when it comes time to take the tent down, you don't have to empty out the sand.

The two sided design is what sold us, since so many other shelters/tents keep the heat in which can be too much for a baby on a hot day. The open sides allow for ample air flow and a nice breeze. We love how the bottom can be easily removed so next summer our son can play safely in the sand without us having to worry about the sun.

Everyone at the beach comments about this tent and how great it is. We love this tent and highly recommend it!

We purchased this shelter for our annual trip to Martha's Vineyard, in hopes of protecting our 8 month old. It worked perfectly! Not only was it increduably simple to open and set up. Taking it down, while holding the litle guy was so easy. South beach on the Vineyard can be very breezy, after filling the sand bags and placing the stakes this shelter didn't move.

I spent a great deal of time reviewing many other shelters and honestly took a gamble getting this one. I liked the open sides which created great air flow.

After using this all summer, without a doubt, would highly recommend this shelter to everyone.

We have a 6 month old baby and were looking for something to shelter him from the sun when we go to the beach or the park. The Cielo shelter fits the bill. It's very easy and quick to set up and take down. With the two sides open, you get shade but still feel like you're enjoying the outdoors. the meshing along the bottom of the sides provides nice ventilation on hot days.

The only reason I don't rate this a 5-star is that the side bends in a bit in a stiff wind. It doesn't fall over or anything like that, but the supporting rods flex a bit more than I'd like.

I'd definitely purchase this tent again.

I looked for a beach sun shelter for a long time, did lots of internet searches and read lots of reviews. The reviews on this tent were pretty limited, but they were good, so I went ahead and bought it. It's a really great tent and SUPER easy to set up and take down. I have been able to set it up and take it down while pregnant. It's very light and the pouch that it comes in has a good length strap allowing you to carry it easily on your shoulder. It is much lighter and more stable than our beach umbrella. We've used it on windy beaches and haven't had any issues with it blowing down or even remotely starting to blow over. The pouches for the sand to weigh it down are great. Very, very happy with this tent.

Took this tent to the beach and it was everything that I had hoped it would be. We were able to get enough breeze with the mesh on the bottom, allowing us to sit in it with ease. My infant and toddler loved it so much that they were able to nap on the beach. A hidden gem was the small mesh tarp on the inside of the top so that you could put watches, sunglasses and pacis without them getting all sandy.

The only down fall was the one leg that had no walls connecting it. I just put a cooler on that part and never had a problem, even with the strongest of winds. We even had locals come up to us asking where we got it so that they could get one.

Would definitely buy this again!!

Great item. Set's up in 2 seconds and folds up in 2 seconds too. Great size, my husband and I can get under with our 18 month old. I plan to use this in the yard to cover her from the sun and at the beach. I definitely recommend this!

We bought this tent for a trip to the Caribbean to protect our 14-month old from the sun. It was PERFECT. The tent is super easy to set up and take down. It has great pockets for holding items (including a hidden shelf at the peak of the tent) and I appreciate the ability to put sand or rocks in the pouches to keep the tent in place. It also has stakes that you can use for this purpose, which would be good in solid ground, but not as effective in the sand. The tent comes in an easy-to-carry pouch with a strap you can throw over your shoulder. I would highly recommend this for anyone who's looking for a sun shelter. Easy to carry, set up, and take down and it fit two adults and our toddler just fine.

I've been wanting to buy a shelter/canopy for over 2 years. Cielo Shelter fit my budget and it's awesome.

I've only set this up in my living room, but here are my thoughts:

- Very light and portable.

- Very easy to setup (seriously, took me less than a minute)

- Size is perfect for my family (2kids)

I haven't tested it out at a beach yet, but I will update my review afterwards.

I'm planning on buying more as gifts to my friends and family.

I bought this to take on a trip to Mexico with my twin toddlers. Not much to say except it is great, especially for the price. Little big for packing, but light and easy to carry on our walk to the beach. We didn't have too much wind but with a breeze the sand pockets worked just fine.

This is an excellent beach shelter. Easy for one person to set up and take down and is also QUICK...which is important with to little ones. Excellent product
