I'm from Puerto Rico and grew up with this music. Andres Jimenez is the quintessential exponent of Jibaro music and this is a wonderful CD to dance to, think of back home and play dominoes. This CD is melodic and full caribbean rhythms, the lyrics are a homage to Puerto Rican tradition and culture. This is Puerto Rican music at its best.
