I already had one from Thompson's Cigar and needed another one for my second vehicle (tired of moving the other one back and forth). Works great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the plastic might have some defects. Part of the hinge broke (still usable) within the first week.

The Cigar Caddy 3540 is an OK way to safely transport your cigars. It is designed to hold 3 rows of 5 cigars each - for a total of 15 cigars. There's a layer of foam padding on the bottom, and between each layer, to protect your cigars. Your cigars must be thinner than 48's to get 5 across in a row. Also, the Humidifier on top is small and weak. You'll want to add additional humidification to the case. The locking clasps fall off during opening. But, once you lock them down, they stay in place. The box is quite sturdy. Price and delivery were great.

Great for any kind of use from short time storage to herfing with friends. Very well build without signs of meachanical weaknesses. Air tight seal helps maintain the environment provided by the included humidity device. Would highly recommend this item to anyone needing protection for their valuable puros.

This thing seals so well it is subject to overly high humidity. Great for the non-aficionado but if you put a moisture packet inside your cigars may build up mold. All you need to do (for the average smoker) is to put your fresh cigars in here and keep it latched. The smaller 5 cigar caddys are great for travel as well. Very well made product.

This cigar caddy has held up to rigors of 3 kids in a car and the trails of Maine. My cigars were kept fresh for three weeks and had no problems with it at all.

Used it in a room which had a very powerful dehumidifier in it...kept my cigars perfect

This is a great way to transport your cigars around. I used it to bring my cigars with me to Australia. Because of the pressure in the luggage area it completely sealed itself so the humidity never changed. Also its almost indestructible and waterproof. So that makes it even better for flying. The only thing bad is that the humidifier circle isn't quiet good enough, but I an very particular about my cigars humidity anyways. My suggestion is put humidifying crystals inside it.

This product has a nice durable construction perfect for camping canoing or just heading out of the house. The only fault I find is the humidifier is very small.

As only an occasional smoker, I keep few (10-15 max) cigars on hand at any given time and carry them with me in my vehicle. I needed a travel case/humidor that would keep them fresh & properly hydrated, and also stand up to the harsh conditions my smokes would be subjected to, being left in the car all the time. The Cigar Caddy was the perfect, and I think only, choice. It seals extremely tight and the plastic case creates an impervious environment inside. The tiny humidifier that it comes with is a joke, but a DryMistat tube works perfectly with this case; just order them both at the same time. With the DryMistat inside, my Cigar Caddy was up to 70% humidity over night and has stayed between 68% and 72% ever since. I should have got one of these a long time ago because my cigars have never been better and my smoking experience has improved 100%! If you are like me and have a less-than-ideal home for your cigars, do yourself a favor and get this case.
