The Cigar Wench reviews Cigar Chic
As a fellow Cigar smoker, I enjoyed Tomima's concise female based book. Of the basic 2 female cigar smoking books out there, Tomima strikes the more demure chord. Very nice detail on the history. Would have loved a bit more in the illustration side of things. ;) The Cigar Wench

CIgar Chic
The book was super cheap and relevant to the topic i was interested in so therefore it was a good purchase. There was no slip cover around the book showing the cover photo. It photo didn't show look anything like the book.

I found this book back in the late 90's when cigars were all the rage. Had I not found this book, I probably would have jumped on the cigar band wagon and then jumped right back off. However, this book teaches you the true love behind cigars... the conversation, the flavors, the enjoyment. As a result I can now hold my own with any experienced cigar smoker. It teaches you want to look for, what to stay away from, etc. It's a great overall book. Agreed however, I would have enjoyed more illustrations.
