Even though my TOM TOM was listed as one that it should have worked on, it didn't go to Walmart and buy it, it was cheaper

I got this product to replace an old TomTom One charger that broke after a couple years. While the charger worked as advertised, the USB plug seemed rather flimsy as it broke off almost right away, leaving the metal end in the GPS. The OEM charger was more durable, so I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about. The OEM charger also had clearly higher quality plastic at the car plug, but I don't really care because that wasn't the issue.

One additional note, well after I wrote this review. Don't listen to the positive comments about this product. It IS garbage, and while I cannot prove it, the positive comments about it being better than OEM or being very durable are likely to be false reviews.

This cable is actually way better than the one that comes originally with the TomTom. It is way sturdier which prevents cable breakage. I'm very satisfied.

Same problem as the other review mentioned. The USB plug broke after the third use here, and the wire inside broke as well. Merchant said the warranty of 30 days expired. Could only throw it in the trash.

Thanks Amazon for delivering exactly what I needed! The 'yahoo' at Best Buy said the TomTom was broken and needed to be returned to TomTom. TomTom said they don't do repairs. I tried Amazon and found a very inexpensive possible solution. It worked! Amazon saves the day again.

Arrived in a timely fashion and works well. Seems a bit better quality than the 2 prior cords I have used. However, it is pictured as a long non-coiled cord when in fact it is a shortish coiled type cord. Works ok for me but would not work in applications requiring a longer reach.

Bought this as a replacement charger for my Tom Tom but the piece that plugs into the device broke off very soon after purchase. Can't use it at all now and I have to buy a new one. Very disappointed :(

I purchased a less expensive cord which shortly failed. This is a sturdier design and I'm very happy with it's performance. Very quick response from the vendor. I'd use them again and recommend them.

The Tom Tom chargers have a 90 degree plug. It is much more convienant and fits better than the straight plug that Amazon sells. I don't like it but it will do when the original fails.

After the second or third use, the line broke, leaving the metal end outside. Very bad quality!
