Editorial Reviews

A Classic Action Adventure of the Old West on Cimarron Strip. Big Jessie Cabot (Mariette Hartley) a beautiful and resourceful woman, comes to the aide of Marshal Jim Crown (Stuart Whitman) as he is relentessly pursued by a lynch-mob posse and a bounty hunter by the name of Moon (Jack Elam). Crown is mistaken for the ruthless killer, Billy Baylor, who murdered an Indian Wells blacksmith in cold blood. The suspense mounts when Crown and Jessie must escape their pursuers in order to reach the town of Silver Springs, where Crown can have his name cleared. Against insurmountable odds, a violent confrontation ensues between Marshal Crown, the bounty hunter and the outlaw gang.

A wonderful story about a country girl, Mariette Hartly, who befriends Marshal Crown, and helps him evade a killer and a town's people who mistake the Marshal for the killer.
A very interesting story with a lot of suspense and action, with a touch of romance thrown in.

I recommend it!
