It's not the most comfortable thing I've ever worn, but it does keep my back straight and help with pain from sitting unsupported. As an art student, I spend hours hunched over projects, which is why I purchased this back brace.

If you wear it under your clothes, be sure to wear a cami or thin tanktop under it, because it does start to chafe a bit if the brace is worn on bare skin. If you wear it over your shirt, be aware that loose shirts bunch up a bit when the brace is tight. It bothers me, but it might not bother everyone.

Buyer beware! The ad for this back brace did not say that it is non returnable! I put it on for less than 5 minutes and it rode up by ribs. It does not support your back, nor does it improve your posture. I have a tall, thin frame, and it immediately pulled up around my ribs. They put a sticker on the box that says "IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to health and sanitary issues, this item may not be returned, exchanged, or credited." This should have been mentioned in their ad, as I would not have purchased it, for that reason alone! I suggest trying this on in a store before investing in it. It's been donated to the local thrift store! A huge waste of money! I only gave it one star because it is required when you rate it, otherwise it gets no star!

Although it does have some issues, it's still the best back brace I've ever owned and I have about a half dozen others that I've tried and tossed up into the closet. Some that I would on rare occasion pull out in desperation until my husband found this one for me. The others have never seen the light of day since. Like the other person posted you should wear a cami or thin shirt (real thin knit silk works well) under it because it will chafe especially if you move a lot. It does get a bit warm if you are not in air conditioning or are working hard. It also does ride up a small amount, but way less than any other back brace I've ever owned. And it's very easy to adjust, or readjust if needed. And best of all.... it works. I can get up even if I'm having a bad back day, do housework, and not flinch in pain. I'm a nurse and my brace is at work now. I wear it when I get an assignment that I know would ordinarily leave me with an aching back. So I came back today, to order another one, to leave at the house.

This back brace is easy to adjust & effective in reducing lumbar/thoracic stress; the seller gets 5-stars for his service & so goes the brace which has been maticulously designed & manufactured to high industry standards. When time comes, spot cleaning should be sufficient to keep garment fresh while allowing compression factors to remain active for many years... happy with this new addition to my "survival" gear.

I ordered this back support for my garden work and don't know what I would do without it. Ordered a large to start with but returned for a medium. The back brace seems to run on the larger size and you will want it to fit snug.

Although this item helps somewhat, it is very bulky and cannot be worn under clothes discretely. It is a heavy, bulky vest, that may support you while doing chores and such.

I have tried a number of back supports. After 3 spine surgeries, I still cannot hold my head up unless I have good lumbar support. Some braces get really uncomfortable after a few hours, some don't provide support. This brace kept me upright through a full day's work. I intend to order more of them.

i received the product but it is way too tight. I measured according to the directions before I bought it, and ordered a medium. When it arrived, I put it on, according to the directions, and wore it for 30 minutes. During that time, I could hardly breath and I got a sore above my left hipbone which later developed into a bruise about 3" across with a partial scab.

I'm afraid I have to send it back to possibly get a larger size, or get my money back. This one was just too tight and uncomfortable. Do I send it back to Amazon or the manufacturer? What if the next one doesn't work, will I get my money back?

I'm sorry, but I had great expectations, but the product made me feel as if I would have a heart attack and I had to take it off right away. I just couldn't breath.
