About the Author
After a career as a commercial illustrator, Brenda Sneathen Mattox began collecting vintage fashion. After a suggestion from a friend at a vintage fashion show to draw paper dolls with a vintage theme, there was no turning back.
Since then, Brenda's paper doll art has appeared in several doll publications such as Doll News and Contemporary Doll Collector and she has illustrated 12 Paper Doll and Coloring Books for Dover publishing. In addition, Brenda has been a managing editor of the specialty magazine, Paper Doll Studio News, for 17 years.
Her earliest interests were ballerinas and Cinderella, the latter was practically an obsession most of her childhood. So it is a dream come true for Brenda to create her own version of her beloved storybook princess as a paper doll.
