This book is above and beyond my expectations. The preview of the book was good, but the actual story was BETTER! I couln't set this book down when I started, and I couldn't believe it either! I don't even know how to play football, but I still loved reading about her playing it! I recommend this book to all of you romance/sports readers out there! This book is fantastic, and will not let you down. Plus, it has a surprising twist at the end (and for my opinion about the ending, it surprised the heck out of me, and it made me sad/mad, but probably not why you think so).

This book was cute! I enjoyed the quickness of it and it was pretty light-hearted except for the sad event that happens to Whitney in the beginning and her struggle with it. Overall, definitely worth an afternoon or two of reading--especially for the price!

I absolutely devoured this book. It had everything I didn't expect it to. The classical "cinderella story" mixed in with a modern day story with a twist describes this book perfectly. I couldn't put it down. I read it in only one day and I was in shock when I finished it. The book was just WOW!!!!

This book was really good! I read it in only 2 days. The plot of the story was really good but what I didn't like about it was the ending. It left me wandering! Also, the author left out quite a few words an or letters. But other than that, the book was amazing!

I thought this was an amazing book. A strong-willed girl, a sexist coach, and two ex-best friends reuniting makes this book a must read for teens. I loved all of it except the ending...the epilogue was not the best and it didn't very much cover what next happens between the two main characters Whitney and Jason. But other than that it was a very good book.

My daughter picked this out to read on my Kindle while we were vacationing. She is 14, so fits the "target audience" of the book nicely. I didn't read the whole book, but my daughter said it was fun to read and a good story. Now she wants to try out for the football team! lol!

I absolutely loved reading this book! It was really cool to see Whitney overcome typical gender stereotypes, and as the story went on, I grew to love her character more and more. The book was fun, easy to read, and really cute! I will definitely recommend this book to all of my friends. I can't wait to read Shipwrecked summer now!

Very cute story where girls can do what boys can. I rooted for Whitney through the whole book. I was excited for her when she complished what she wanted and i loved the support she got from the other players. I was a little frustrated with the reation of the girls but of course people dont like what they dont understand. Very empowering story for girls of all ages. Loved it...

My 9 year old niece was telling me how much she was enjoying this book, so I thought "what the heck, I'll read a quick chapter just to see what she's talking about"... and next thing I know, 3 hours had past and I was completely immersed in the world of Whitney Berringer. I'll admit I was skeptical going in, but the writing was sharp, witty, and effortlessly transported me back to the social grind that was high school. Definitely worth your time! Great read!!
