Cinderella Effect is Constance Rudert's side project outside of Blutengel. I am a big fan of both projects. After 3-4 years, Cinderella Effect is back with its follow up Cinderellicious. Unlike Pearls, Cinderellicious consists of all original material. Cinderella Effect's music mixes pop, alternative rock, and electronica and the results is quite enchanting. As much as I enjoyed Pearls, I found the album a bit dreary. I felt the album dragged on a little too long than it really should have been. A few of the songs should have been cut. Not on Cinderellicious. I really liked how stripped down the music was in compared to the music on Pearls. "Always", "Hear Me Out", and "Summer Wine" are beautiful piano ballads that simply took my breathe away. I particularly enjoyed "Summer Wine", duet Constance does with Carsten Klatte. I really have been enjoying Cinderellicious since I received it in the mail a couple of days ago.
