More About the Author

Let me tell you a story! I love to write. My books are filled with characters that are near and dear to my heart, and my supreme wish is that you will feel the same way after you read about them.

My romantic mysteries contain an exciting array of love stories, different ages, different locations, even a few taking place in a different time. They are sweet romances, which means that even though those great feelings of attraction and passion as love builds between two people flow through my stories, you will not find any graphic descriptions of sexual interludes (and no graphic violence either, for that matter)on the page.

The list here includes short stories as well, a fun way to enjoy a romance when time is short.

New to the list are my new novels for middle grade students (grade 4-5-6), a series of touching and fun stories beginning with "Isabel the Invisible" in the series called "The Kids of Room 6A", and a soon to appear mystery and adventure series set in 1890 Montana. Stay tuned!

I'm a teacher and family therapist as well as a writer. I truly believe that love, in all its forms, is what makes life worthwhile, and that is a lot of the motivation that keeps me writing. I hope you enjoy what you find here! I love to hear from readers. Contact me at ChristineABush@aol.com

All of Ms. Bush's female characters are strong, independent women who are open to life and learning.

Cindy Castle doesn't believe in fairy tales. She doesn't want or need a prince to rescue her from her life. Princeton Highfield comes roaring into Cindy's life. All he needed to do was one little task given to him by his father, but one look at Cindy and he had to get to know her. There's just something about this woman that has Prince's mind all tied in knots. Though the lives they lead are very different, Prince is determined to show Cindy it doesn't make a difference. He's got a lot of work to do to break down her barriers, and get her to open her heart to him.

Cindy gave up many things to take in her sister's children when she died. Morgan and Hannah are everything to her, and she loves them as if they were her own. She certainly doesn't need a rich man like Princeton to sweep her off her feet and take her into his world. The rich, high powered world is not the kind of life for Cindy or the children. But what Cindy doesn't know is she has changed Prince's life.

Cindy's Prince is a beautifully written contemporary romance. With this book, Ms. Bush shows the reader that two people from opposite worlds can find love. Her charismatic and memorable characters are full of emotion and heart, and readers will immediately take a liking to them. Faced with criticism and skepticism, this is Cindy and Prince's chance to find something that is rare- true love. They are thrown challenge after challenge which keeps the reader engaged and rooting for the deserved happily ever after.

Looking for a contemporary romance that will sweep you off your feet? A modern fairy tale with real life drama, heartache, and jampacked with emotion? Don't miss Cindy's Prince. It's an unforgettable story that will warm your heart long after the pages have been read.

This is one of my favorite Christine Bush books. I love her character building, she just tells about people I adore. You root for them and wish good things for them as if they are friends. I love his mind frame change about the kid, lots of funny stories there. I just love this book, and you will, too!

This happily-ever-after romance left me feeling warm and fuzzy. I stayed up late to finish it in a day. Favorite scenes: Cindy takes on "the parents"; Prince takes on Father; and, on a VERY humorous note, Prince takes on the mini van!!! :-) If you like your love stories sweet and spirited with a touch of mystery, this may be the romance for you.

Cindy Castle is a children's librarian who is caring for her sister's orphaned children and meets the hero Princeton Highfield when he delivers an unwelcome package to her. Cindy's smart, sweet and definitely not in the market for any kind of prince. In fact she's wary of Princeton's wealth and social status while he is smitten and pursues her for all he's worth.

I liked how Cindy stands on her own two feet and is not looking for anyone to rescue her. And I enjoyed Prince--he is a very likeable hero, not one of those morose, brooding sorts. They both have to do some changing in order to get together and as it turns out, they help each other attain their dreams. The kids in the tale--those in Cindy's care and also those at story time--were just a bit too good to be true. I think I would have liked to see how Cindy would handle a tantrum or some brattiness.

The story contains humor, romance, and even a bit of danger. If you enjoy love stories in the "sweet" vein, you're sure to enjoy "Cindy's Prince".

You will not find a cruel stepmother, fairy godmother, or any glass slippers in this updated tale of Cinderella. However, there is plenty of heart and a wonderful message for our times. This sweet, modern fable is a delight.

Christine Bush takes the Cinderella tale and gives it a new twist. Cindy Castle has no use for do-nothing playboys, so when she meets Prince Highfield she is not impressed. But as Prince learns to care about people outside his narrow life and as Cindy learns her own lessons of tolerance, the two become close. This is a delightful tale that will leave you sighing and smiling!

The delivery of the effects of an American soldier to his sister-in-law sets off a series of events for Cindy Castle and Princeton Highfield. The two may live in Philadelphia, but they come from different worlds.

Cindy loves working at the library handling children’s events. She’s mother to her niece and nephew and has to watch her budget closely. Contrasty, Princeton lives on the Main Line, behind gates and sprawling lawns. His world is that of old money and rubbing shoulders with the rich and powerful of the historic society. While Cindy has flirted with Princeton’s lifestyle, she much prefers her own. Princeton, however, feels a gap he can’t fill – until he delivers the package to the beautiful librarian.

Christine Bush in Cindy’s Prince opens a door to a world of upstairs downstairs that’s full of characters on both sides of the gold coin. Without contrasting one as better than the other, she shows us that money or lack of it, can still bring happiness. Princeton is surely a prince we’d all like to meet. Finding his ground and taking control of his future, Prince learns the joys of a simply hot dog in the park or a bus ride.

Cindy’s Prince is a fun read. Whether you’re going to the beach, reading on a train or curled up in your favorite chair, you won’t be disappointed.
