This review is from: Mezco Toyz Cinema of Fear Series 3 Action Figure Hitchhiker (Classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre) (Toy)
The toy looks NOTHING like Ed Neil. It's as if the sculptor was told that The Hitchhiker from TCM was tall, thin, wild-haired, with a strange birthmark and a scraggly beard... but he didn't bother to watch the film or reference any actual sketches of the character before he made the figure. The accessories feel flat and cheap. The pose makes the character look assertive and menacing. I don't recall The Hitchhiker being particularly assertive or menacing in the film. He was the spidery, creepy, kooky one. Anyway, I picked this guy up (aw... just like in the movie!) because I wanted to set him next to the McFarlane McFarlane Toys Movie Maniacs Series 4 Action Figure The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Leatherface Leatherface figure on my bookcase. They... um... they just don't work well together. Still... it's a whopping .99...
