5.0 out of 5 stars Good book on Black Film worldwide!, December 24, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Cinemas of the Black Diaspora: Diversity, Dependence, and Oppositionality (Contemporary Film and Television) (Paperback)
An informative anthology covers black film from Brazil, the Caribbean, Black Britain, Paris, the United States as well as continental Africa and FESPACO, (the 30+ year old continuous film festival in Burkina Faso, West Africa). A great read, also good for academic study. There is no book like this one, for diasporic film coverage.
