This is really a great synthesis of movie music and electronica/lounge music. Reminds me of the great themes from 60's TV ... Mission Impossible, etcetera.
Well, this album captures some relatively obscure titles (Taking of Pelham 1,2,3, They Call Me Mr. Tibbs and others) and moves them into the 21st century. Great Stuff!

I thought I'd give this a try. It isn't bad at all. You'll likely recognize some of the tunes from movies you've seen but not quite be able to put your finger on it, as it seems these are primarily remixes.
Altogether it is better than I thought it'd be. If you dig the samples, buy it. |
