Scenes from a movie that you may have already seen-, September 18, 2001

Nonetheless, it's worth a second viewing. The first track in French sets the stage for a slow journey into fusion jazz, mellow
hip-hop beats, and ambient instrumentation. Add in a few doses of suspense, a smidgen of action, and a cupful of romance and you have "Scenes From A Movie"-what that movie is comprised of depends on the listener-I'm thinking ART HOUSE. Although many artists contribute to this worthy effort, thematically the album is smoothly bound. This doesn't push any envelopes nor is it particularly novel so much as it's pleasant and provides enough transition to maintain interest. Think Morcheeba dinner party music, think rainy Sunday afternoons....this is a fun find.
