Worked well for six months, then for about a year it was sketchy and required a lot of time to diagnose problems. After a little more than a year, it still works but only for about a minute and then shuts off.

I bought this a little more than a month ago, and it worked beautifully. I initially bought it to use my phone's bluetooth headset for games, and the quality was great, but then the logitech bluetooth dongle for my keyboard stopped working after a year and a half of use. I was able to sync the keyboard with the Cirago dongle, which worked mighty fine, except maybe a little lag and stuck keys every now and then. Worked mighty fine.. until yesterday when it suddenly decided it did not want to work anymore. No more flashing blue light. The software is telling me that "bluetooth has not started yet" and windows will not allow me to re-enable bluetooth services. Tried different USB ports, it doesn't even read that new hardware is leaving or entering. So yeah, I was impressed with it's capability up until yesterday. I've seen reviews of people saying it worked for months so maybe I got the defective one.

i feel this item works well if you only use one thing at a time. i can sync my treo with it, but its dreadfuly slow. if i want to connect my treo using a program other than hotsync, its a big hassle trying to free up the com port. by the time i free up the com port and it get it working, it would have been literally ten times faster to get the cord.
So for me, its way faster to get the cord than it is to connect via bluetooth and the cord operates incomparably faster than the bluetooth dongle. so i find it very useless.
what they deliver is not what they picture also.
BTW. all this trouble and it is only working for me after i uninstalled the manufacturers software and ran it with the windows drivers. before that i could not get it to work properly at all.
Disgustingly disappointed. make sure you do your research before buying this.

It works, but it sure runs hot. It's too hot to physically handle while it's powered, whether there are actually any devices paired to the host system or not. This kind of heat can't be good for it; I don't expect it to last for long.

This item works great as a bluetooth radio. However, Windows 7 did not recognize it right away and I had to use the included cd to install drivers. This is not a failure of the radio so much, but is the first time I have run into this on 4 machines with Windows 7 and many peripherals. The low score is based upon the flashing LED light in the unit. It blinks constantly whether in use or not. I purchased this small unit so I could leave it in my laptop 24/7, and now have to take it out when not in use as the blinking is very irritating. Buy one without a light.
