A dangerous imposter..., September 3, 2000
A gang of outlaws was terrifying the settlers in western Montana. The sheriff in desperation called in John Stranger to help catch the gang after they had nearly killed a settler. After John Stranger stopped the gang, the leader in revenge asked a man to disguise himself as John Stranger and start killing and robbing innocent people. John Stranger, finding out about this, now has to find and capture the man who is masquerading as him. During his search he is trapped in the woods by a circle of fire. A wild black stallion he called Chance is the only hope he has...

Just Plain Fun, February 13, 2011

For the past few months, I've been reading through the "Journeys of the Stranger" series by Al Lacy. These books are just plain fun! Fans of Louis L'Amour or old-fashioned TV westerns like "Bonanza" will enjoy these. The mysterious good guy always gets the bad guys, saves the town, and rides off into the sunset, waving good-bye to the girl--his fiancé, Breanna Baylor, of the "Angel of Mercy" series--and preaching the Gospel to everyone he meets along the way.
In "Circle of Fire," the fifth book in the series, owners of small ranches are being terrorized by a band of outlaws trying to force them to leave their homes and dreams. Sheriffs in two counties suspect one of the big ranch owners is behind the harassment, but can't prove anything.
At the same time, the legendary John Stranger has problems of his own. He's been framed for murder and must clear his name. And what's more, he must do so without his amazing horse, Ebony, who is recovering from a gunshot wound, obtained in an attempt on his owner's life. Everything I thought it would be, March 23, 2010

The story was as awesome as I thought it would be and so was the book. I was pleased with both. Was shipped out immediately and I recieved them within a week. I was very impressed. I use the Amazon's Super Saver Shipping and even when things come in seperate packages or are pre-oredered they still come very quickly and the shipping is cheap. I am very pleased.
