Book Description

January 25, 2001

Circle of Light is a story of shadows. Madison Sinclair has a power. Growing inside her since childhood, it has molded her life and the lives of everyone around her. Struggling to understand and master this force, she balances on the edge of evil. Her intimate relationship with God is challenged by her obsession with the occult until a confrontation with a demon brings her choices sharply into focus. Her obsession becomes a vow to use whatever gift she's been given to fight the Dark One and discourage others from following the treacherous path of black magic. Plagued by constant fear, Madison struggles to uncover the reason behind her many dark encounters and to find purpose and sanity in this unnatural existence.

About the Author

With a wild sense of humor as a shield and cutting wit as a weapon, Emily Roesly drifts through life taking each day as it comes. Knowing that control is an illusion, she relies on the love of her husband and soul-mate, Bill, to keep her grounded while God keeps her safely on the right path. She enjoys a quiet life in the woods of New Jersey's Pine Barrens, nestled in front of her keyboard as her imagination soars like the eagles above the pines.

If the supernatural enthralls you as a reader, pick up Emily A. Roesly's book, Circle of Light. This is a journey in the life of Madison who is capable of perceiving the darkened areas most can not see. Early on as a child she grasps her extraordinary gifts without complete understanding she could teeter into the evil void. Only with maturity and many hair raising experiences does she comprehend her need to choose between darkness or the Circle of Light. Bravo, Emily for creating a novel of excellence especially for the reader who has experienced the unconventional phenomenon of psychic power.

Here is a book that can you make aware of the light and dark forces that surround all of us. Frightening enough to make even the biggest of paranormal skeptics doubt their beliefs. Powerful enough to creep into your mind when you're alone in your thoughts and in your dreams sending cold chills up and down your spine. The story of Madison and her journey through life had me totally captivated from cover to cover. Emily Ann Roesly has written this book enabling you to feel the raw emotions of Madison, the sheer terror she experiences, the overwhelming sadness and frustration, to the heartwarming happiness as if you are actually there, with her circle of friends. The contents of the book stay with you even when you've turned the last page. Excellent work Emily! I am looking forward to reading your next book.

Circle of Light by Emily Ann Roesly was a spine-tingling journey that kept me at attention throughout the entire book. Once I started turning the pages, I found it so addictive that I just couldn't stop. I literally never budged from my comfy, cozy spot on the couch until the very last page was complete. Nestled safely under my afghan, I devoured this book like a bear's first meal after a long winter's hibernation. This author's subject matter was somewhat spooky yet totally enthralling. She has great descriptive talent and a way with words that keeps her readers yearning for more. Keep up the good work, Emily. I look forward with great anticipation to reading your next book.
