Celtic rockers, August 23, 2009
I had the pleasure of meeting these wonderful ladies at an Irish music festival in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Their voices and harmonization's are possibly the most beautiful I've ever heard and their music in general is fantastic. Many fans of Celtic music have already discovered the incredible sounds of the Screaming Orphans, but this review is for those who haven't. Irish music can be beautiful and the Screaming Orphans do their share of that, but incidentally, these girls ROCK. They put a spin on the whole Celtic genre you have to hear to believe. If you are a music lover, you have to do yourself a favor and give these girls a listen; and with Liar being the first song on this album, I believe you'll be hooked immediately.
