You can't tell from the picture and in fact I never would have ordered these from the ugly picture, but these have little squares all over, (thus the name "windowpane") and are probably one of the most beautiful and substantial weight everyday drinking glasses I've ever had the pleasure of using. A few years ago we rented a gorgeous log cabin on our vacation and the kitchen was stocked with the best of everything including these gorgeous glasses. I enjoyed drinking out of them so much that I bought them a few months later when I found them in the houseware section of a TJ Max store. Since then these are the only glasses I will use. This is now my third time buying this set. They are lovely enough for company and have a nice sparkle. Don't go by the ugly picture, just get these glasses, you won't regret it.

I am so happy I ordered these glasses. They are to be everyday glasses and I had hoped they would be durable and yet good looking. They certainly are that. I hoped they would fit together - they do and they have some weight to them so they are not easily overturned.
They came on time, nicely packaged, and in good condition. What more can one ask?

These glasses are nice, especially for the price. I got them a couple days ago and they seem relatively sturdy and easy enough to clean. They have a kind of checkerboard pattern going all around, which I wasn't expecting because in the picture it looks like there's just stylized rings going all around parallel to the table/top of the glass. Not so! I was a little disconcerted, actually, because I've never seen this particular pattern before, but it's growing on me.

The most important thing to note before buying these glasses, however, is that they really are an *entertaining* set. Some glasses sets get labeled "entertaining" and what they actually mean is it's a set of dinner glasses. These really are 4 highball, rocks, and shooter glasses. They're not for when you have your anti-alcohol parents over for dinner, because these are pretty obviously (alcohol) drinking glasses only. They're all a little too small to be satisfying for normal drinking glass use.

I originally bought these glasses at Pfaltzgraff, and have had them for a few years. I am impressed with how sturdy they are. I have dropped them occasionally on my tile kitchen floor and they bounced! Unfortunately, I have had them bounce a couple times and then break, so I am back for more. I am happy I found these at Amazon for such a good price.

I am back for another box of these glasses. They are heavy and really beautiful. I am really impressed with the quality of these glasses and the price is right. Will look great for company, either for juice in the morning or a cocktail at evening. Can't go wrong with these.

This set was purchased as a gift. The gift was very well received. Good style and quality for the price. I may purchase another set for my home.

Use the tall one for water, rocks glass for mojitos and thin tall for straight gin!
Great quality and value ... I hand wash so not sure about dish washer safety but I assume
it would be great.

The glasses arrived with 3 of them broken. Packaging was poor inside the box. The glasses themselves looked nice and were made well. Amazon was great handling the problem. Thanks Amazon.

Did not expect much at the price, but the packing was poor - one glass was found broken on arrival and the box was filled with glass shards. Not worth even asking for a return.
If you mean to sell glasses, you should pack them better.
As to the quality, well, it was just...ordinary glass, somewhat thin.
Would not recommend this product.
