Clear and Concise,

This review is from: Circuit Analysis: Theory & Practice (Hardcover)
This book takes alot of very hard topics to get your mind around and makes them very easy to understand. The book is good to know cover to cover and all the information in it can be used anywhere from the feild of computer's to electrical distribution. It's a great book to give you a solid basic understanding of electricity and how it's used.

This is really on of the best college books on electronic and electrical theory books I have read and has some of the best explainations I have seen. He also gives really great examples. For Electrical or Electronis engineers working in the field this books is a must. The work books has many great study projects to make you an expert. You can become a College teacher

Thorough,
This review is from: Circuit Analysis: Theory and Practice (Hardcover)
This is a well written and thorough book, and does a good job in teaching the basics of transistor circuits. It would be good if the book included a CD with excel spreadsheets with example problems. Working with the circuits in excel helps to improve intuitive understanding of a somewhat complicated subject. Book is a bit pricey, but worth it.

The book is written well and is easy to understand. They need to put more advanced worked out examples if they are going to include advanced homework sections.

Not that good,

This review is from: Circuit Analysis: Theory & Practice (Hardcover)
Honestly, this book covers all the topics, but doesn't explain techniques on problem solving some of the circuits. The examples are not that well, and the author leaves our many steps in the worked out problems.Buy this book if ur not in an electrical course, and just want to read the theory behind it. But not if you want to learn to work our problems on top of the theory. There are books out there that do well in both aspects that I have discussed.

This book cost over $140 at my school's book store and it was used without the CD. I got it on here for $60 or so in excellent shape with the new CD. Plus I got it fast. Excellent work Amazon!

The title is misleading. It is not the book itself but the lab manual that comes with it. No problems with the manual but it is not useful to me. I am thinking I should check the ISBN the next time before I place the order. Maybe it said somewhere that it was the lab manual and I missed it.
