Great for stir-fry!,

I picked this one up at the local Macy's, for a little more than what Amazon is selling this for, and have been pleasantly surprised. This may look odd from the picture - it'll look even more so when you get it - but once you start stir frying in this, you'll see how much better this is compared to the regular pan. This pan, if you can make out from the picture, has a shallow rim on one side, and a deeper rim on the other. The handle is on the shallow side. The deep side has a nice curve to it. So, when you want to toss and turn your cooking, a flick of the wrist sends the contents flying through the curve on the far side, and they land right into the pan, mixed much better than what you would normally achieve with a ladle. The build quality is very good in my opinion - it handles daily use rather well, comes out clean through the dishwasher, and the circular print on the inside base makes it even more non-stick than the usual flat surfaces. I would definitely recommend trying this out.

I bought this toss and turn pan last year on April. It worked very well for the first several month. And I took very care of it----used soft stiring spoon to cook, soft rag to hand wash it, never used high temperature in cooking... but after 6 month, the "nonstick" layer begin to fall off. Although the fall off part is very small, I dare not to use it any more. Because I dont know if the fall off "nonstick" layer will cause cancer... Well, $30, 6 monthes good experience in using nonstick hard-anodized pan....good, but too short

actually, this pan perfoms quite well. it can turn an average "flipper" into something quite respectacle. i've used it in a number of dish preps and been well satisfied. the shape of the pan is a little different ( which is why it works of course ) but it is also a conversation piece. it's also priced at a comfortable level.with time these coated pans decrease in the thing you like about them initially ie non-stickability. this pan is going in the direction of all coated pans. i think that i'll get the word out to my family that i prefer a good polished metal pan for consistency although expensive in cost.

I sent this to my sister-the cook in the family-she had been looking at it in the stores for ages but has trouble buying things for herself. She absolutely loves this and now uses it sooo frequently that it already is a part of her kitchen family.

Last thing I tried to toss with this pan ended up on my arm. One...,

must learn to accept ones limitations. My wife brought home two of these from god knows where for 10 bucks each almost 2 years ago and as long as I don't actually, you know, toss anything these are great pans. I just look at them as funny looking skillets that don't stack right in the closet. But after almost two years they still release great, don't stick and sear steaks and chops like a champ(most non-sticks suck at a really good sear and sometimes the cast iron is to much of a pain to haul out.So buy one, don't feel the need to toss anything with it(it will, in all likelyhood, end badly)and enjoy the joys of anodized aluminum(I like anodized over stainless. It does naturaly what stainless needs tricks to do. Just make sure it's thick. Thickness counts for everything with aluminum cookware).

I love the pan, but unfortunately I can not use it with a lid as the item arrived dented on one side. Neither Macy's or Circulon seem to be able to replace the pan. I really enjoy all of my Circulon products.
