My husband and I bought this pan set about 6 months ago. I realize they are not suppose to be put into the dishwasher because they are hard anodized aluminum and the manufacturer recommends that we hand wash them; However, I don't live in the 1800s and don't have the time, nor the desire to scrub pots and pans! I have been putting them in the dishwasher under the normal wash cycle about 4-5 times a week. It doesn't appear that the dishwashing has harmed them, in any event, I figure I'll take my chances. In terms of cooking with them, they work absolutely great and I definitely recommmend this set. The only thing that bothers me about this product line is that the 10 pc set does not include a 1 1/2 qt covered saucepan, only the 12 pc set does. I can't even buy it separately either. Other then that, I have no complaints.

Update: June 2005 As I said in my original review submission, my husband and I have been putting them in the dishwasher to clean because we're lazy and willing to take risks. Now, over 1 1/2 years later from the time of purchase, they still "look" brand new but in terms of "use" they are beginning to stick a LITTLE. For example, when I now use a pan to make scrambled eggs in them the first set of eggs that I cook do not stick and turn out good, but the second set of eggs and any thereafter will need extra oil/butter in the pan to prevent them from sticking. So the dishwashing probably has effected the non stick coating on the pans, but barely. Aside from this issue, they still work GREAT! We still put them in the dishwasher to clean, and don't regret it one bit!

I have had the ten inch skillet for about six months and it is by far the best I have had in my thirty-five years of cooking. I overheat it. I catch it on fire. It looks like new. Non stick is fine. A teaspoon of oil and nothing (I mean nothing) will stick. Circulon 2 is great stuff, period. I was so impressed, I wrote this.

After long research and many visits to different stores, I found the Circulon 2 10 piece set. This set offers everything I was looking for. It has the durability of being hard-adonized with a nicer look than some of the more expensive brands. Probably the best feature of this cookware set is the new non-stick that it has. Not only does food not stick to the pan when cooking but clean-up was an absolute breeze ( hand washed ). I highly reccomend this set, wether you are a novice in the kitchen or a seasoned home chef. You will find this great cookware.

My husband and I received this set 3 years ago as an engagement gift. We had picked out a different cookware set, but when I felt the weight of these, I knew they were quality and decided to keep them. I was also attracted to the look and design of these pots and pans. I am so happy with this set. The food cooks evenly, the pans wash up so easily, and they still look brand-new! The lids are easier to store, because they are slimmer, and they work very well, even if you want to tilt them a little to vent. This Circulon set has even survived my husband's many attempts to create his own recipes. We love these pots and pans.

this is by far the best non-stick cookware i have ever used. it heats evenly and the hard adonized surface releases food effortlessly. i would definately reccomend this product to anyone interested in it.

This is our 3rd try at nonstick cookware. First, Cuisinart and then Calphalon. Both were not truly nonstick and Cuisinart has a titanium coating. Circulon really is nonstick and the cleanup is a snap. Other reviews mention nothing happens if put into a dishwasher but I have been told that is dangerous b/c the coating scratches and can leak onto food. These pans cook food better and washing up a pan takes less than a minute - certainly a worthwhile effort for a healthier cookware approach. I would highly recommend this set.

I waited a lot of years to get some good quality pans. When the kids moved out, I knew it was time to splurge. So, I looked on the internet to compare prices and reviews for a while before I bought them. I'm pretty much a tightwad! I'm glad I looked around, because I got a great price on Amazon. I LOVE these pans! They heat up very evenly, it's really hard to burn anything, which is usually very easy for me, and they are super easy to clean. I've had them for about a year now, and use them daily and they are still in excellent condition. My only regret is that I didnt buy them years ago!

I received my set today and I was very excited as I pulled each pan out of the box! The weight of each piece was really nice. I went to Macys and previewed some of Circulon's more expensive sets before I ordered these. I also looked at Anolon, Calphalon, Cuisinart (online), and Technique (online). I read reviews online by consumer magazines and individuals like myself. I own several Lodge pieces, which I love, T-fal (love it), and Revere stainless, which I have had for 8 years (love it)!!!

I believe a persons likes or dislikes are subjective, so I do not pay attention to those that are not based on any real substance. With that being said, I really would encourage anyone whether a new cook or a seasoned veteran to buy this cookware. These are excellent. I really hope others read my review and decide to jump at this deal. You will not be disappointed.

This product was for a friend. I bought the same set 5 years ago and love it. Nothing sticks to it as it has ridges in the bottom and with a drop or two of oil nothing sticks. The pans are well put together and mine still looks new.

I purchased a set for my son and daughter in law and accidently had a second set sent to my house.I was told that I could send it back by amozon but I went ahead and opened the box and tried the pans.Great idea,it is the best cookware I have ever used and my wife and I love everything about the set.We almost never use our other cookware which we paid a great deal more for and enjoyed cooking with before we got this set.
